Songkran Parade

This is the opening day of Songkran. It's the Thai new years festival. What happens is in the morning they go up and down streets with symbols and drums to scare away evil spirits, they even put ghost money on trees to burn to send over to the other side to appease the spirits. Even little old ladies get in the middle of the streets and dance.
